Shalom Europa - The New Jewish Community and Cultural Center in Wuerzburg and Unterfranken follows a unique concept. It not only provides space for the manyfold facilities needed for a community which, since 1990, has increased in numbers considerably - to-day 80 percent of its members are migrants from countries in the former Soviet Union. It also serves as a meeting point at which Jews from outside the region can learn more about their religion and the Jewish approach to life.
